Southeast Asia is the fastest-growing emerging market for rooftop PV globally. In 2025, the region added 12.8 GW of new PV capacity, a year-on-year increase of 37%. Notably, Vietnam experienced explosive growth in C&I rooftop installations.

The Middle East possesses exceptional solar energy resources and is accelerating its transition from fossil fuels to distributed PV. Saudi Arabia’s "Vision 2030"targets 120 GW of PV capacity, while the UAE and Qatar are accelerating the deployment of rooftop PV systems.
