A solar ground system (or ground-mounted solar system) is an installation of solar panels mounted on the ground, rather than on rooftops or other structures. These systems are commonly used for utility-scale solar farms, commercial projects, or residential properties with sufficient land.
Structure and Design
Dual Vertical Posts: Each mounting unit consists of two vertical posts (often steel or aluminum) driven into the ground, spaced apart to support a horizontal beam or racking system.
Cross-Beam or Rails: The posts are connected by a horizontal beam or rails, forming a sturdy framework. Solar panels are then mounted on these rails at a fixed tilt angle.
Material: Typically made of galvanized steel or aluminum for corrosion resistance and durability.
